Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to services sold by CodeNovAI. Digital services are custom; refunds are limited and tied to project stage. Proposal terms override this page if they differ.
Deposits
Project deposits reserve scheduling and cover discovery and early production. Once work has started after deposit, deposits are generally non-refundable unless we cancel or fail to begin within a mutually agreed window.
Cancellation by you
If you cancel after work has begun:
- You remain responsible for work completed to date
- Approved milestones already delivered are payable in full
- Unused prepaid retainer hours may be reviewed case-by-case; unused third-party ad spend credits follow the ad platform’s rules
Cancellation by us
If we cannot deliver for reasons within our control, we will refund fees for undelivered work after deducting costs already incurred with your approval (for example domain, plugins, or ad spend).
Monthly retainers
Monthly management or marketing retainers renew as stated in the agreement. Cancel before the next billing cycle to avoid the following month’s charge. Partial-month refunds are not typically provided once a cycle has started.

Email codenovaai22@gmail.com with your name, project or invoice reference, and reason. We aim to respond within 7 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible.
